• Color handling: Users can select various color contrast profiles such as light, dark, inverted and monochrome. Additionally, users can swap color schemes of titles, texts, and backgrounds, with over 7 different coloring options.

• Animations: Epileptic users can stop all running animations in an instant, at the click of a button. Those animations include videos, GIFs and CSS flashing transitions.

• Content Highlighting: Users can choose to emphasize important elements such as links and titles. They can also choose to highlight focused or hovered elements specifically.

• Audio Muting: Users with hearing devices may experience headaches or other issues due to automatic audio playing. This option lets users mute the entire website instantly.

   

• Cognitive disorders: We utilize a search engine that is linked to Wikipedia and Wiktionary, allowing people with cognitive disorders to decipher meanings of phrases, initials, slang, and others.

• Other options: We provide users the option to change cursor color and sizing, use a printing mode, enable a virtual keyboard and much more.

Additionally, the website utilizes an AI-based application that runs in the background and optimizes its accessibility level every 24 hours. This AI engine remediates the website’s HTML issues, as well as functionality and behavior, for the use of blind people that are using screen readers, and the motor impaired that are using a keyboard to operate websites.

AI Accessibility Components:

• Screen-reader optimization: The AI runs in the background and learns the website’s components top to bottom, providing screen-readers with meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes. It provides accurate form labels; descriptions for actionable icons; validation guidance for form inputs; and element roles such as buttons, menus, and modal dialogues. It also scans all images to provide an accurate ALT (alternate text) tag and extracts embedded text using OCR technology.

• Keyboard navigation optimization: The AI adjusts the website’s HTML and adds JavaScript code to make the website fully operable by a keyboard. This includes navigation using TAB/SHIFT+TAB, operating dropdowns with arrow keys, and closing them with ESC. Keyboard users will also find quick-navigation and content-skip menus (available by clicking Alt+1).

We aim to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies as possible.
